FRIDAY 12/5/14; ECB Rally Continues; BIG; Monthly Jobs Report is Blowout 321K Jobs; Dollar/Yen Hits 121; Factory Orders; INDU and SPX New All-Time Highs; Italy Credit Rating Downgrade; Dow 18K Beckons

The dollar/yen rises above 120. Japan’s Nikkei Index continues printing multi-year highs day after day on the weaker yen up for six consecutive sessions. NIKK +0.2%. Exporters are strong. Australian stocks began the day higher but

30 arrests occur in New York City during protests after the grand jury decision to not indict any police officers for killing an unarmed black man. A highway was shut down as demonstrators filled the streets. The police corral the protestors resulting in minor injuries. Protestors are ridiculing the police chanting, “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” and “I Can’t Breathe” referencing the St Louis and New York grand jury non-actions, respectively.

TUESDAY 12/2/14; China Stimulus Rally; Russia GDP Forecast Drops; Motor Vehicle Sales; Construction Spending; INDU New All-Time Highs

The central bankers are the market. The PBOC may announce additional reserve requirement cuts for the banks due to the weak manufacturing data. Asian stocks catapult higher on the news triggering limit-up circuit breakers. Traders do not care about company fundamentals; all that matters is if the central banks are pumping stocks higher with easy money. The Shanghai Index, SSEC, catapults +3.1% higher on the PBOC juice. The HSI gains +1.2%. Chinese banks explode higher with China Merchants Bank and Minsheng Banking each up over +10%. All Hail the central bankers! The Asian markets turn into a big stimulus party.
