WEDNESDAY 10/7/15; BOJ Rate Decision; Oil Rally Continues; STZ; MON; 10-Year Note Auction

China markets are closed one more day and reopen tomorrow. The weak YUM earnings may create a sour mood in Asia. Trading is underway on the SPASX200 up marginally. The BOJ rate decision will be announced after the NIKK begins trading. Nikkei Index futures point to a flat open.

The consensus by analysts and economist is that BOJ Governor Kuroda will maintain the current monetary policy, however, the NIKK has rallied from under 17.0K to 18.2K in only five days a gain of +7.1% so traders are perhaps pricing in unexpected stimulus joy. 34 of 36 analysts say the BOJ will hold steady but over 50% expect more stimulus before the year ends. The central bankers are the market.

US futures are

Russian military jet violates Turkey airspace from Syria. Turkey anti-aircraft weapons were poised to shoot the Russian jet down but the jet returned to Syrian air space. The incident creates a very dicey situation in the Middle East where a mistake may occur by one of the world powers that will create a major war.

September Publication of the Daily Chronology of Global Markets and World Economics 2015-09 is Available from Amazon; Market Turmoil Continues

The September publication of the Daily Chronology of Global Markets and World Economics 2015-09 is available through Amazon (AMZN). The epic market action continues from August into September. The stock market is languishing sideways after the mini-crash. Chinese markets remain in turmoil. Russia is now involved in Syria and forms a new Persian Alliance with Iran and Syria in the Middle East. The European migrant crisis is at biblical proportions with millions fleeing the Middle East mess in search of a better life but ISIS Islamist radicals and other terrorists are infiltrating the refugee population no doubt planning heinous attacks in the future in Western nations.

Many stocks remain down between -10% and -40% off their tops. The chronology explains the exciting daily events around the market collapse and the events that led up to the big selloff in the stock market. No other publication exists that describes the market top and rollover like the daily chronology.

The Federal Reserve decides to not hike rates in September which creates market turmoil. Global central bankers continue pumping stocks higher especially the ECB and PBOC. The PBOC is trying to stop the stock market crash in China but stocks continue leaking lower. Average Chinese citizens have placed their life savings in stocks chasing the parabolic rise and are now receiving their heads on a platter; many have lost their entire life savings.

In the States, Ma and Pa listened to television pundits that said to buy the market and invest in dividend stocks this year and they have lost -10% and more of their capital over the last couple months. The chronology records the prognostications by Wall Street pundits so history can not be rewritten in the future.

The Middle East remains in chaos with the US reacting to events without any cohesive plan or foreign policy in place. The Holy War waged by ISIS Islamist radicals against Christians and Jews continues. Social unrest and wars continue around the world. Ukraine fighting is ongoing despite the ceasefire. ISIS Islamist radicals are performing genocide against Christians and Jews while the world looks on. As mentioned above, Russia is expanding its military activity in Syria.

The chronology records economic history in real time preventing revisionist tampering in future years. Many of the same asset managers telling everyone to go long the market in 2007-2008 are repeating the same mantra this year. Many managers are finally revising their lofty SPX 2200 and 2300-plus targets lower for this year but some say the targets will happen in 2016. Long term sentiment remains strongly bullish. Their quotes and words are recorded. Perhaps they are correct with their market cheer leading; perhaps they are not.  If a multi-year top has printed, the chronology serves as the most accurate accounting of the stock market topping process. The chronology is the most reliable and easy to understand source for explaining global markets.

As always, all monthly publications of the Daily Chronology of Global Markets and World Economics are available from the links in the left margin or simply searching on Amazon. The monthly publication contains updated information not posted on the web site as well as clarifications and refinements to the daily blog text.

We are living through historic stock market and economic times. The daily chronology is the most accurate accounting on how the recent stock market top formed in real-time. The monthly publications are compatible with most electronic devices and include an extensive Business Acronym List and Ticker Symbol List. The Acronym List is the most comprehensive business-related acronym list available on the internet. The chronology is not available in hard copy and only distributed around the world electronically.
