the major cities down about 40% from one year ago. Oddly, house prices remain
elevated. Japan places a destroyer in the Sea of Japan to address any further
missile aggression by North Korea. Fears increase that the deadly Eboli virus
may be propagating across West Africa. Outbreaks are noted at Guinea, Sierra
Leone, Liberia and now Mali. Mines are closed in these areas as health
officials attempt to contain a potentially devastating pandemic.
