SUNDAY 5/7/17; Emmanuel Macron Elected President of France

In France, the polls are open and lines are long for the presidential runoff election between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen. Macron is favored in the polls by a 62% to 38% margin. Computer hackers release potentially-damaging emails and other documents for Macron but there is a blackout period of media during the last 24 hours into the election and citizens may or may not be impacted by the last minute development.
