SATURDAY 4/4/15; Lunar Eclipse

A total lunar eclipse, the shortest of the century lasting five minutes, occurs in North and South America, Asia and parts of Australia. The event occurs from 5 AM EST through 11 AM EST with the peak maximum eclipse at 8 AM. The ‘Blood Moon’ occurs where the moon turns an orange color due to light filtration affects.
