Asian stocks run higher. The BOJ decides to maintain current
monetary policy as expected and says a modest recovery continues. BOJ Governor
Kuroda proclaims, “Markets are not overheating.” The NIKK gains +0.8% to 19790
at new 15-year highs. Banzai! The dollar/yen drops to 119.90 due to a stronger
yen but stocks continue higher anyway on Kuroda’s proclamation. Australian
stocks are up +0.6% with oil and gas companies trading higher. The KOSPI gains +0.6%
printing five-month highs.
The SSEC is up +0.9% to 3996 punching above 4K to 4000.22

rail companies continue to run parabolic with China CNR and CSR train companies
limit up +10% for a second consecutive day. Hong Kong begins trading after the

A jury convicts 21-year old Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsamaev; guilty on all 30 counts including murder and conspiracy. The sick Islamist terrorist committed mass murder killing three people and injuring 264 others. The jury deliberated about 11 hours before reaching the verdicts. Tsamaev was expressionless and faces the potential death penalty for his heinous acts.
