SUNDAY 2/1/15; China PMI; Superbowl

Four suspected terrorists are killed by US drones in Yemen. In Ukraine over the last day, the civil war claims over two dozen lives including Ukraine troops, pro-Russian separatists and civilians; no one is winning. Ukraine President Poroshenko is calling for Russia to be labeled as a “terrorist nation.”

The United Steelworkers union (USW) calls a strike for chemical plant workers

 news is bad news as the PBOC is quiet after the weak PMI's. US futures are on the positive side. S&P futures +4. Dow +31 Nasdaq +6. Euro 1.1312. Dollar/yen 117.49. US 10-year yield 1.66%. Oil drops nearly -3%. WTIC oil 46.85. Brent oil 51.64.

The Superbowl champion is the New England Patriots winning 28-24 over the Seattle Seahawks. Tom Brady wins his fourth Superbowl in six appearances placing him in elite standing as one of the best quarterbacks in American football history.
