Today is dubbed Pi Day in honor of the mathematical constant
very important in geometry; 3.141592653. Pi has digits that go on for infinity.
Pi Day only occurs once each century. The first five digits create the 3/14/15
date. Adding further fun, the exact time for Pi is 9:26 AM EST and 53 seconds.
So this morning be sure to pay homage to the Greek mathematicians as you enjoy
breakfast.

Pope Francis cryptically eludes to retiring in two to five years
following Pope Benedict’s lead but perhaps instead his words are in reference
to prophecy where God may plan a short few-year reign for the popular pontiff.
The Pope is opening the door to allowing priests to marry in the future
although the church is slow to change.
