MONDAY 7/4/16; July 4th Independence Day; US Markets Closed; Silver Above 21; Aussie Elections in Limbo; Brexit Rhetoric Increases

Today is the July 4th Independence Day holiday in the States that celebrates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on 7/4/1776. The 13 original colonies (Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York and Rhode Island) declared their independence from the British Empire on this day 240 years ago. The Brit’s were not pleased. US markets are closed and will reopen tomorrow morning.

Fireworks will light the sky in the United States up and down the East Coast from 9:20 PM EST through 10:00 PM EST. (10:20 AM to 11:00 AM Tokyo time Tuesday morning).
